West Ham brought their long wait for back-to-back Premier League victories this season to an end on Tuesday evening by sweeping aside Cardiff City.
The Hammers entered the game in a good vein of form having eased past Newcastle United at the weekend and continued in a similar fashion back at the London Stadium – although it proved to be a harder test for the hosts.
Lukasz Fabianski saved a first-half penalty to keep the score goalless at the interval before Lucas Perez netted a brace in the second period, with Michail Antonio rounding off the win and Josh Murphy scoring a late consolation by the visitors.
While he was not on the scoresheet in the midweek fixture, Felipe Anderson earned further praise from West Ham supporters after the summer signing continued to catch the eye with fine displays – and plenty took to social media to heap praise upon him.
We have gathered some of their comments below.

Anderson is different class, received lots of stick when he joined, now showing glimpses of the way Payet used to play with his flair and vision, what a guy

First back to back Prem wins since Jan 2017 😬. Felipe Anderson with another silky performance, getting better all the time. 5 more games against bottom half opposition in Dec to come. Pellergini showing the gulf in coaching/management against the likes of Moyes! #IRONS #COYI #⚒

At the end of the day, when all is said and done, when push comes to shove, basically, in a nutshell
Felipe Anderson is the best player outside the top 6
