West Ham secured a second victory in a row in the Premier League after brushing aside Cardiff City at the London Stadium on Tuesday evening.
The Hammers entered the game full of confidence after beating Newcastle United 3-0 at the weekend and continued their fine display back on home soil, although they were made to work a lot harder by a resilient Cardiff side.
Lukasz Fabianski saved a first-half penalty before Lucas Perez, off the bench, scored a brace after the interval. Michail Antonio rounding off the scoring for the Hammers but a clean sheet was denied in the dying moments when Josh Murphy bundled home a scrappy goal.
Despite another solid performance, many West Ham fans on social media were critical of another poor performance from Arthur Masuaku – who returned to the starting line-up after the injury sustained by Aaron Cresswell at the weekend.
Many fans made it clear they want to see much better performances from the 25-year-old and we have gathered some of their comments below.

Apart from one player, everyone had a good game.
Masuaku tries too much risky stuff when in defence.

Masuaku is a liability defensively couple of times today he was lapse and a better team would have punished us. He is a LM not a LB simples

I know it was only Cardiff, but there was some really good stuff happening out there. Some ordinary stuff, too, but six goals for in two outings is impressive by anyone’s standards.
Oggy has to go LB for me.
Masuaku can go do one,
