West Ham secured back-to-back Premier League victories for the first time this season after sweeping aside Cardiff City on Tuesday evening.
After hitting three against Newcastle United at the weekend, the Hammers entered the clash at the London Stadium in good form but were made to work hard for all three points, with Lukasz Fabianski saving a first-half penalty.
Lucas Perez then netted a brace in the second period before Michail Antonio opened his account for the season, while Josh Murphy scored a late consolation for the visitors to strip Manuel Pellegrini’s side of another clean sheet.
Plenty of players amongst the squad impressed in the latest performance but many fans on social media saved individual praise for Robert Snodgrass, who continued his resurgence in East London by securing two assists.
Previously an outcast and spending last season on loan with Aston Villa, Snodgrass has proven his worth for Pellegrini’s side this season and earned plenty of plaudits after another eye-catching display.
We have gathered some of the comments below.
Robert Snodgrass is the definition of a true professional.
I’m still baffled as to how he came about to wanting to come back and play for us after the comments made by people high up at West Ham but hats off to him.
Been involved in quite a few goals for us and grafting hard.

Anderson for me was outstanding and that was only at first gear. Snodgrass needs to play week in and week out, unsung hero tonight.
