“What a man” – Many West Ham fans are discussing some of their more interesting transfers

|

A lot of West Ham United fans are reminiscing over some of the club’s disastrous transfer deals from the past decade.

The Hammers have made some truly terrible signings since 2010, and a few supporters are discussing a few of their favourites.

Some of the players include Alex Song, Mauro Zarate, Emmanuel Emenike, and Alessandro Diamanti.

All were relative failures, but some were worse than others.

For example, Emenike played 16 games and didn’t score a league goal while Zarate arrived with much hype around him, and though he failed to deliver on that hype, he was not that bad managing to make 29 appearances and score seven goals.

There have also been some huge errors made by the board in terms of players leaving.

Who was the worse signing?

Emenike

Zarate

Zaza

Song

One such player was Demba Ba, who, after seven goals in 13 games for the Hammers, moved to Newcastle United for free and proceeded to score 29 goals for the Magpies and help them finish fifth in the league.
