These West Ham United fans were left fuming with the PFA chief executive Gordon Taylor after he made a suggestion as to how the Premier League should be concluded.
Speaking on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme (via BBC Sport), he said that halves of less than 45 minutes could be considered when football makes its return, but understands if player still have concerns about safety in relation to social distancing.
These comments were elaborated by EFL chairman Rick Parry who said that there have not been any discussions about it as of Tuesday.
What will happen to the Premier League?
Completed
Voided
The Premier League are subject to “constructive meetings” that will identify a clear pathway to the return of football to the London Stadium and the other 91 grounds across the country.
Unsurprisingly, supporters were not impressed with what Taylor had to say and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that this would be a “joke” if it was true, while another described his suggestion as “hideous”.
So all results this season will be amended to say 80mins…. no I thought not…. another ridiculous rule change 3/4 of the way through the season

WTF ! This is beyond ridiculous
If the season can’t continue under the same rules as the previous 3/4 of the games then it needs to be scrapped
Different rules = different game
