Yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock, West Ham fans had the joys of watching their greatest rivals travel to face one of their fellow relegation strugglers, as Aston Villa hosted Tottenham, and the Hammers were left worried after watching a battling performance from the Villans.
Villa are literally so much better than us at football

The Irons’ next game comes away at The Etihad on Wednesday, yet after watching how Villa took the game to Tottenham on Sunday it seems a lot of them are even more worried about relegation as they once were, as the Villans had a fight and energy about them that is lacking in David Moyes’ side.
It certainly is a worrying time to be a Hammer. Relegation is a real threat, and unless Moyes and co can pull some points from somewhere in the next few weeks then they risk slipping into the abyss of the bottom three by more than the odd point.
Will we get a result at The Etihad?
Yes
No
You can read the Irons’ fears after watching Villa here:
We play the worst football in the league

They play without fear, really open at times but have and play to a system, very well drilled and coached. Unlike us, who I watch and have no idea what we are trying to do lol.

Mmm and so are Norwich. It is a very worrying time.

The main difference between Aston Villa and West Ham is that Aston Villa play their football matches without fear and always go into games looking to win – West Ham often seem too concerned about not losing games than trying to win them.

Not wrong. The main thing they seem to have is energy. We are so passive and have been under numerous managers.

The Hammers have got little faith in survival and watching Villa’s spirited display against Spurs hasn’t at all helped.
