West Ham endured a difficult start to the Premier League campaign but have come out of the blocks fighting during recent weeks.
A victory on the road to Newcastle United started December off in the perfect fashion, with the Hammers continuing their fine run by seeing off both Cardiff City and Crystal Palace at the London Stadium.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side made it four league wins in a row on Saturday after heaping further misery upon London rivals Fulham in a 2-0 win at Craven Cottage, where goals from Robert Snodgrass and Michail Antonio led the Hammers to victory.
Snodgrass’ opening goal was the Scotland international’s second in as many matches, maintaining a fine run of form that has seen the 31-year-old net twice and secure three assists during the Hammers’ winning streak.
Previously an outcast in East London, fans are delighted with the resurgence of the former Hull City man and praised him again on social media at the weekend. We have gathered some of their comments below.
