West Ham were swept aside by Manchester City at the London Stadium on Saturday, suffering a 4-0 defeat against the Premier League leaders.
A loss against Pep Guardiola’s side was not surprising but it makes for bleak readings for West Ham fans, who have now seen their side lost seven of their opening 13 games in the Premier League this season.
That means there is plenty of room for improvement and the Hammers will be looking to build a run of form over the course of the coming weeks as they have more favourable fixtures on the calendar, starting with a clash against relegation-threatened Newcastle.
While there were some positives to take from the performance against Manchester City, fans have made it clear they do not want to see Arthur Masuaku in the starting line-up again in the near future after a poor display.
After a nightmare 45 minutes, Masuaku was withdrawn at half-time and plenty of West Ham fans took to social media to heap criticism on the defender. We have gathered some of their comments below.

You could say the first goal was a stroke of luck but Masuaku was definitely to blame for the other 2 goals, Sterling ghosted past him for both and he didn't even react.
