Many West Ham United fans have been reacting to the club’s announcement of next season’s 2020/21 home shirt.
The Hammers will celebrate their centenary year in 2020 and have commemorated the occasion with a kit which is designed to capture the history of the East London outfit.
Umbro, the kit suppliers for the East London outfit, have gone with a simple design of typically claret across the torso and cuffs with blue sleeves and round collar.
Do you approve of West Ham United's centenary kit?
Yes
No
They have also identified this by changing the club’s crest. Sticking to the simple design of the two hammers and bold lettering with “London” underneath, West Ham have added a banner which states the two years 1895 and 2020 as well as “125 years”, as well as changing the colour scheme.
Unsurprisingly, supporters salivated over next season’s kit and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan described it as “simple and classy”, while others labelled it as “unreal” and a “beauty”.

Good. Much better than the terrible dogs dinner of a home kit for this season
