Lots of West Ham United fans have been applauding an adapted club crest sign that has been posted online.
The Hammers recently revealed their centenary shirt for the 2020/21 shirt, with kit suppliers Umbro sticking with the classic claret and blue colours and adding a banner to celebrate 125 years of history.
However, the word “London” in the recently midfield badge has been criticised and this had led fans to have a go themselves at the club’s badge.
Does the West Ham look better without "London" in it?
Yes
No
West Ham Gossip posted their effort on Twitter. A badge which is purely claret and white and removed the word “London” from it to provide a simpler and sleeker appearance.
Unsurprisingly, supporters approved of the design and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that “this was much better”, while another stated that it was a “good shout”.
