West Ham fans have got so much time for young Declan Rice. The Hammers’ defensive midfield man turns 21-years-old today, yet he’s been playing Premier League football to an incredibly high standard for over 18 months, and his club has taken the time to send out a happy birthday tweet for their star.
Wishing a very happy birthday to @_DeclanRice!
Have a great day, Dec! pic.twitter.com/41AfSAjyYi

However, whilst many of the replies have been aimed at the player himself, wishing him a happy birthday and sending lovely messages for their young midfield ace, others have focused their attention at the club, calling for the board to change out of fear they may soon lose Rice.
It’s a legitimate complaint, too. The Hammers have got loads of time for Rice and it’s clear that the player himself loves West Ham, but there really is a question mark over whether or not they’ll be able to keep him when big clubs come calling, seeing as the Irons clearly won’t deliver him with European football anytime soon.
Will we keep Rice?
Yes!
Sadly, no
You can read the Hammers’ replies to the Rice tweet here:
Just a shame we’ll lose him when we get relegated

If only we had a board that could recruit correctly so that we could build a winning team around this guy#boardout pic.twitter.com/N1sCdlMNej

The Hammers have got loads of time for Rice and will hope he stays at the London Stadium for as long as possible.
