‘Don’t want to spend’, ‘Sorry state of affairs’ – These West Ham fans fume at club post

|

You would have thought that the news of Lukasz Fabianski’s injury not being quite as bad as was once feared would be good news for the Hammers. However, that news has come in, yet the fans aren’t happy, as they believe it gives the club an excuse not to sign a new backup stopper.

A scan report has revealed that Lukasz Fabianski will be out of action for just a couple of weeks.

We’re right behind you, @LukaszFabianski!

The Irons have got loads of time for Fabianski and when he’s at his best he is one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League. However, this season he’s had two separate muscle injuries and things do not look good for the Polish ex-Arsenal man.

With that in mind, David Moyes should be dying for a new goalkeeper to come in, initially as a back-up, but potentially to take the role of the Polish gloveman long-term, although they’re worried that the injury to Fabianski being a minor one could rule out any potential for a new sho-stopper being signed.

Should Fabianski be replaced?

Yes

No

The Hammers have got a lot of time for Fabianski and love the Pole, but they also want to see a new goalkeeper come in as soon as possible.
