West Ham fans have had an issue with their goalkeeping department all season. Whilst Lukasz Fabianski is absolutely superb, the Hammers have struggled to keep the Pole fit and he’s currently sidelined with what looks like his second muscle injury of the season.

With that being said, and the fact that neither Roberto Jimenez or David Martin are good enough long-term back-ups to Fabianski, the Irons are looking for a new goalkeeper, and they’ve reportedly had a £7m bid for Cardiff’s Neil Etheridge rejected.
That news comes from Football Insider, and the fans aren’t at all happy. They know that bidding £7m was never going to be enough to bring the Championship shot-stopper in, and as a result of that, they’ve been found slating their club on Twitter.
Will this transfer window be a big one?
Yes

Would be a quality signing, I think he’d fight for that 1st position. But the board would rather sign David James at this point.

Harris dropped him at the weekend and he obviously wants away. More appealing than Randy but it wont happen.

The Hammers aren’t happy with the failed bid, yet only time will tell if the Irons will up the bid and bring him in.
