Pick The Best Performer On A Bad Day For The Hammers

|

Did we, in all honesty, expect to get anything from our trip to Anfield this afternoon?

Well, I hoped we would, I hoped the summer expenditure would reap instant rewards, but, then again, I’m just an old romantic.

Perhaps, in reality, it was always going to be a hard task to get anything against a Liverpool side that many are perceiving to be the main challengers to Manchester City winning back-to-back Premier League titles.

On the evidence of today where they totally bossed West Ham and carved out numerous chances, they could well be there or thereabouts come May.

But, although the Hammers were soundly beaten today, we have to look for positives, even if they were few and far between.

To me, Felipe Anderson looked, once he settles into the Premier League as if he could be a golden asset whilst, despite conceding four goals, Fabianski looked as if he could serve us well.

But, who amongst those who played, gets your vote for our man-of-the-match award?

Please take this opportunity to take advantage of our new ‘Player Rating’ feature so we can determine who was the best in a West Ham shirt against Liverpool.
