The new 2018 / 2019 season is underway and the Hammers dreams of getting off to a good start fell by the wayside as they were soundly beaten by Liverpool, at Anfield.
The 4-0 score-line, if we are to be brutally honest, wasn’t a fair reflection of the play, the defeat could have been heavier.
But, the game did give us the opportunity to see several of the summer transfer window signings in action, by my recollection six featured at some point of the game.
Here at Vital West Ham, we’d be interested to see which of those who made their Premier League debuts for the club performed the best on what was a day to forget for us all.
