‘Mustard’ – Lots of West Ham fans were loving the ‘pure filth’ they saw from ‘class’ individual

West Ham United fans continued to love what they saw from new signing Pablo Fornals on Thursday evening as he helped take Spain’s Under-21 side to the European Championship final.

The playmaker has been hugely influential in his country’s efforts throughout the tournament as he helped them book their place against Germany with an emphatic 4-1 victory against France.

And, one moment of the match had managed to get fans waxing lyrical once again as he continued to show glimpses of the quality we can all expect (hope) to see at the London Stadium in the upcoming campaign.

Fornals, who admittedly had a rather poor corner kick, managed to whip in a deadly cross with the outside of his boot into the box that Borja Mayoral got on the end of and emphatically killed off their opponents with.

It was not the first time that fans were jumping with excitement and praising what the 23-year-old has managed to produce since becoming a West Ham player this summer. Many took to Twitter to share their reactions to the goal he scored against Belgium, whilst plenty of others have previously commented on his cameo against hosts Italy in the opening group game with a general buzz about what the future holds.

It might have been another game, however, it was very much the same types of reactions from fans, especially after seeing that assist. Many of them jumped on Twitter to give their responses to the sheer brilliance and skill Fornals showed.

One fan stated that it was ‘pure dirt’, whereas another continue to echo the thoughts that he was turning out to be a ‘wicked signing’.

Here are just some of those reactions…
