‘Looks useful alright!’: Lots of West Ham fans were raving over what ‘class’ individual did

With games coming thick and fast in the Under-21 European Championships, West Ham United are getting a great taste of what to expect from new recruit Pablo Fornals.

Having come on at half-time, the midfielder sent both Spanish and Hammers fans wild with his last-gasp winner as he kept their hopes of qualifying for the next round of the tournament alive with an exceptional strike.

Fornals picked the ball up from the middle of the Belgium half and decided to drive into the defence with the ball at his feet before unleashing a powerful shot that had the opposition goalkeeper truly beat.

That performance came off the back of a solid cameo in the defeat against Italy and it would not be a surprise if he were to start their must-win encounter with table-toppers Poland on Saturday.

Hammers fans are likely going to tune in to that game and hope to see more of the same from Fornals as he continues to look like a coup with each passing game.

After witnessing his goal against Belgium, supporters took to Twitter to share their reactions to his goal, with many of them excited to see what he will be able to achieve with us next season.

One admitted he was finding it hard to ‘keep his feet on the ground’ whilst another ‘cannot wait’ to see him in action next season.

Here are some of their reactions…
