West Ham have been fighting to find stability in the Premier League so far this season and it has proven to be a difficult challenge.
Manuel Pellegrini splashed over £100m on his squad in the summer, leading to signs of some positives, but the general consensus is that there is a lot more to do.
However, there are times when football has to take a back seat for the more important things in life and this is certainly the case with the battle facing young Isla Caton, a West Ham fan who has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.
The club and supporters have rallied around the young hero superbly, with fans pleased to see that a member of the squad has also got involved after an image was shared showing Robert Snodgrass had donated £3,000 to the cause.
Fans were delighted with the generosity of the Scotland international and we have gathered some of the best reactions below.
