West Ham have faced a difficult time finding consistency under the guidance of Manuel Pellegrini, although there have been positives to take from the opening 12 games of the season.
Marko Arnautovic continues to be the Hammers’ brightest spark, excelling since his arrival from Stoke City last summer, and the form of the Austria international has certainly not gone unnoticed by other clubs.
Now 29, Arnautovic’s agent has suggested that he could be on the move in the future as he is desperate to play Champions League football and West Ham fans have reacted with immense disappointment to the reports.
The 75-cap forward has regularly featured at the front of West Ham’s attack this season, leading the line in the absence of a recognised top-class centre-forward, and losing their Player of the Year would certainly be a massive blow.
Some fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the matter and we have gathered some of the best reactions below.
Looking forward to Antonio upfront from Jan-May.

He won’t go in January. But he’s world class, and would be the number one striker in any team in the premier league. So could see him going in summer, if a big offer came in. Would be absolutely gutting though.

Sigh, I can see it already “he loves the club, but doesn’t see it progressing where he wants and in his prime years he sees this as his last chance to win something and wants to move on”

Sounds very worrying. Ohhhhh all the Payet feelings have come flooding back, I can see it now…
Pellegrini: “I have a situation with a player, it is Marko Arnautovic. He wants to leave, he doesn’t wanna play for us. We ain’t gonna sell him, not whatsoever, it’s not the money…

Why sign for a club, sign a contract then want to leave after just after a year, when he was at Stoke no big club wanted him, he was inconsistent, at least give us the time we gave him. Because he never had the greatest start

Does not sound good…..

If this is true, it just proves we as a club will just never move forward as fans dream of. Just a stepping stone club unfortunately
