West Ham are fighting for consistency under the guidance of Manuel Pellegrini and have endured a turbulent campaign thus far.
The Hammers handed themselves a boost last weekend by beating Burnley, securing only their third victory of the season, and looking to snatch all three points against Premier League strugglers Huddersfield Town tomorrow.
While there have been positive signs coming out of East London this season, one concern is the lack of a top-class recognised striker in the squad and it is fair to say the Hammers are extremely short in this area.
Javier Hernandez is the main option, although Pellegrini has often utilised Marko Arnautovic in a central role ahead of the Mexico international, and fans will be forgiven for forgetting about Andy Carroll.
Currently fighting to return from his latest injury issue, Carroll’s current deal is due to expire in the summer and West Ham are debating whether to activate a two-year extension to his contract.
However, fans have made it clear they want to axe the former Liverpool man and we have gathered some of the best reactions below.

That’s not a dilemma. Just get rid of him. What’s the alternative? Give him another 2 years where he picks up £85k a week for sitting in the treatment room again. It’s a no brainer. He has to go.

That would be such a West Ham thing to do. Give a player that’s spent virtually 6 years injured another 2 years….which he’ll spend mostly injured

#CarrollOut Get him out
