Some West Ham United fans were left seething over a report which indicates that the Hammers loanee Jordan Hugill will be a significant part of David Moyes’ squad for the 2020/21 campaign.
With the current campaign suspended until June 17th, the manager has had plenty of time to carefully plan out his squad and who he plans to keep hold of next season, and it appears that he has made a decision on one particular outcast.
Football.london previously reported that West Ham will give Hugill the number nine shirt when he returns from Queens Park Rangers, which has rubbed fans up the wrong way.
Does Jordan Hugill have a future at West Ham?
Yes
No
His stint in west London has been a successful one, having scored 14 goals in 35 appearances in the Championship in what is his third loan stint since his arrival at the London Stadium.
As a result, supporters were left fuming with the club’s plans and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that “he’s not PL level”, while another believes that it is a clear indication that we are “planning for Championship football”.
Hugill is not a Premier League player and will not become one. End of.

West Ham originally signed Jordan Hugill with one eye on relegation that season followed by season in The Championship in which we would have lost all of our PL standard strikers. Hugill was never going to feature if we stayed in the PL – which is what happened. He’s not PL level
