Plenty of West Ham United fans have been criticising midfielder Andriy Yarmolenko and believe he should leave the club once the 2019/20 campaign comes to a close.
The 30-year-old signed for an undisclosed fee back in 2018 on a four-year contract from Borussia Dortmund and has yet to light the London Stadium on fire after carrying such a glittering reputation with Dynamo Kyiv.
Injuries have severely hampered the progression of Yarmolenko at West Ham, having suffered an Achilles tendon rupture and an abductor muscle tear, which has seen him miss a total of 45 matches.
Should Andriy Yarmolenko leave West Ham?
Yes
No
From just 25 appearances in the claret and blue, the Ukrainian trickster has scored just five times and provided two assists, with just 1376 minutes under his belt, as per TransferMarkt.
With this in mind, supporters had lost patience with Yarmolenko and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that we should “get rid” of him as soon as possible, while another stated that he is “not worth a carrot” in the transfer market.
I sat and watched him for 10 mins during a game this season. Absolutely zero work rate off the ball. In terms of positional sense he didn’t seem to have a clue what he was doing.

No pace. No work rate. No longer able to play at PL level. Get rid of ASAP.
