West Ham have struggled for consistency so far this season and have suffered defeat in six of their opening 12 Premier League matches.
Some positives have been shown by performances from the likes of Marko Arnautovic, Declan Rice, Felipe Anderson and Issa Diop but, despite splashing over £100m in the summer, there has not been too much in the way of improvements at the London Stadium.
That could prove to be detrimental to West Ham in the coming years as players may consider a move to the club to merely be a stepping stone – and it seems that Arnautovic is assessing his options as he eyes a move that would bring him Champions League football.
According to Sky Sports, Arnautovic wants to compete with the best and has been linked with a number of top clubs in the Premier League – and Liverpool fans on social media have been discussing a possible move for the Austria international.
