“He wasn’t all that” – Lots of West Ham fans offer their opinion on six cap international star

“Average at best” – These West Ham fans do not believe that Declan Rice was that good for England in the Three Lions 4-0 win over Kosovo.

Ex-WHUemployee posted a tweet claiming that he thought Rice had a “Solid game” for England, saying that he was “Involved in two goals” and “Made some crucial blocks.”

However, a few West Ham fans disagree with his statement, and they believe that that the 20-year-old was average at best, and he can play better.

After the game, Roy Keane ripped into Rice and made it very clear that he feels the London-born midfielder has a long way to go before he can be considered a top player.

Keane, though, may just be bitter that Rice chose to represent England over the Republic of Ireland.

To say Rice was involved in the first two goals is a bit of a stretch – he played a pass into Harry Kane for the first one before three other England players exchanged passes to find Harry Winks.

Did Rice play well for England?

Yes

No

For the second goal Rice moved the ball to Raheem Sterling, who then did the hard work.

Rice apart from that was relatively solid, and he is learning with each passing game, but it was not a standout performance from the 20-year-old – he can certainly play better.

Many Hammers fans disagree with Ex-WHUemployee and feel that Rice was average.

Other Irons fans thought Rice played well.

Finally, a lot of West Ham fans are furious at Roy Keane’s assessment of Rice.
