“Can’t get any worse,” “Not ready” – These West Ham fans are unsure if the Hammers should bring Winston Reid in for his comeback game against Tottenham.
The New Zealand international made two appearances for his country last weekend, and some West Ham supporters want him to be involved against Spurs.
The 31-year-old, who earns £70,000 per week, has had an awful time with injuries over the past two years and has not played for us since March 2018.
Would you play Reid against Spurs?
Yes, he could make a big difference
No, not ready
Reid was a good Premier League defender, and bringing him in could tighten up our leaky defence, but another solution would be to partner Angelo Ogbonna with Issa Diop and drop the hapless Fabian Balbuena.
However, these Hammers fans are divided over bringing Reid back so soon after recovering from his injury hell.

Regardless of fitness he’ll be a cooler head than anything we currently have in that defence

Many Irons supporters would like to see Reid involved.
Nope, Diop and Ogbonna.

No, too big a risk, even if currently we have a cheese-grater defence….

Other Hammers fans, though feel it is too early to bring him back and would prefer Ogbonna.
