Responding to footage of West Ham boss David Moyes on Twitter, plenty of Hammers have flocked to praise our manager following a ‘tremendous‘ gesture aimed at an Irons supporter.
The Scotsman, who took over from previous boss Manuel Pellegrini after his sacking in late December, has since had to put his targets for the season on hold as football temporarily comes to a grinding halt due to the current pandemic.
Was Moyes the right man to succeed Pellegrini?
Yes
No
West Ham are currently sitting in 16th with only goal difference separating us from a place in the bottom three, but manager Moyes has put that to the back of his mind in order to send a heartfelt message to a Hammers supporter who is currently battling illness.
Moyes sent his best wishes to the fan in a video clip which has since been uploaded to Twitter, prompting plenty of our fans to applaud the ‘great message‘ online.
Here’s how supporters praised our boss on social media in response.

He’s the wrong manager but the right man. Proud that we have blokes like him associated with us
