West Ham’s recent run was extended to just one win in their last six matches across all competitions after a 1-1 draw with Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
The Premier League strugglers opened the scoring with just six minutes on the clock through Alex Pritchard’s tame effort before Felipe Anderson equalised in the second half, extending his recent record in front of goal.
Despite Manuel Pellegrini’s summer signing finding the net again against the Terriers, some fans on social media were unimpressed by his overall performance and have criticised the Brazilian for being inconsistent with his displays.
His overall contribution to the match left some fans hoping for more and some labelled him a fraud, while another stated he would never be as good as former favourite Dimitri Payet was during his prime years in East London.
We have gathered some of the best reactions below.
Anderson definitely is no Payet…

Anderson is absolutely useless. Honestly would sell him tomorrow if we could. That 1 good game he’s had last week has fooled us all. Absolute fraud
