West Ham have struggled for consistency under Manuel Pellegrini so far this season, losing half of their opening 12 games.
The Hammers spent in excess of £100m in the summer to bring in the likes of Felipe Anderson, Issa Diop and Andriy Yarmolenko to the club but have still not managed to secure the future of young starlet Declan Rice.
19-year-old Rice is locked in a contract standoff with West Ham’s hierarchy, who seem reluctant to pay their crucial first-team asset a fee that he believes he deserves – which has sparked numerous debates amongst West Ham fans.
With the Hammers now reportedly looking at signing Samir Nasri as a free agent, TalkSport pundit Jason Cundy launched a scathing attack on the club where he deemed them to be ‘cringey and embarrassing’ in strong words.
Naturally, that lead to many responses from West Ham fans and plenty agreed with what he had to say. We have gathered some of their reactions below.

Cundy’s right
I get they are trying to back their manager by signing someone he wants but 80k for an unfit banned drugs cheat when we won’t pay £30-40k for @_DeclanRice. This lad puts everything into every time he pulls on our shirt, he’s a future captain for sort it out WH— Ricky Forrest (@rickwhufc) November 14, 2018
It shouldn’t have gone this far without being sorted. He’s one of the first names on the team sheet and still only asking for £30k p/w! Crazy

He right tho … the owners are killing us … every penny they have put in is a loan to the club …. they have only spent 19 m of their own, to acquire us … then pay off loans, replacing with their loans funded elsewhere! …
