By and large, West Ham United fans have been reacting positively on Twitter to the news that the club have been offered the chance to sign Andre Silva.

According to a report by Claret and Hugh, the AC Milan forward has been offered to us this summer as they look to shift him off their books after a rather unsuccessful time at the club.
It is claimed the Italian outfit are looking to receive a transfer fee of around €30million (£27m) for the 23-year-old as they look to cut their losses on a player they spent €38m (£33.6m) on back in 2017.
During his time in Italy, Silva managed just 10 goals in his 40 appearances (Transfermarkt) before he joined Sevilla on a season-long loan last summer, although things did not appear to get much better for him in Spain. He played the same number of matches, recorded 11 goals in the process, however, that does not appear to have given him a second chance with the Rossoneri.
Upon hearing the news that we had been offered the chance to sign the Portugal international, a number of the fans flocked to Twitter to share their opinions regarding a potential move for Silva.
Many of them seemed to be in favour of such a deal, however, plenty of them seemed to echo the idea that it should be a deal we look to complete on loan first with an option to buy.
Here are just some of their reactions to the rumours…
Get him on loan to buy for that next summer and that’s great business.

Maybe we could loan with option to buy

This would be an amazing signing.. he fits perfectly in Manuel’s play style.. he needs ballers around him, and that is precisely what he would have

This one would need to be loan first… great talent but a risk at £27m as he’s had a tough time at Milan

Only loan to buy

Loan with view to buy all day long

Good player but not for £27m unless we can loan to buy!
His knee injury was a big worry last season kept him out for 3 months.
That’s not something we can afford, I’d rather us pay £35m or so for Mateta who has no really injury history— Steven McCarthy ???? (@StevenMcCarthy9) July 6, 2019
