West Ham secured a third win in a row in the Premier League on Saturday after edging Crystal Palace in a 3-2 victory at the London Stadium.
After sweeping aside Newcastle United and Cardiff City last week, the Hammers maintained their excellent vein of form in a five-goal thriller against their London rivals and surged up the Premier League standings as a result.
West Ham endured a difficult start to the season but now seem to have found their rhythm, with recent results presenting a perfect platform to build upon over the course of a busy festive season.
While fans were understandably delighted with the win against Cardiff, many on social media could not agree on the performance of Arthur Masuaku – with some believing he had shown improvements while others fired further criticism in his direction.
We have gathered some of the reactions to Masuaku’s performance below.
can’t wait till cresswell comes back, cause you are awful my friend

Well done @ArthurMasuaku— Yahya Mohamed (@yahya_yahyam) December 9, 2018
You’re still poor though, a defender that doesn’t defend and always gets caught ball watching!! I thought you may have learnt from Sterling and City where you were at fault for 3 goals, just as poor today though good job Palace are shit.
