West Ham are starting to find their rhythm after a slow start to the season, boasting three consecutive victories in the Premier League.
The Hammers began their terrific run last weekend against Newcastle United and followed that result with a fine victory over Cardiff City in midweek, before seeing off Crystal Palace in a five-goal thriller on Saturday.
That sequence has sent Manuel Pellegrini’s side flying up the league standings and potentially into the battle for Europa League football next season, with it clear that one man is leading their superb charge after fine performances.
Felipe Anderson netted the third and final West Ham goal in Saturday’s win, extending his tally this season to six in the Premier League – making him the Hammers’ leading scorer and establishing himself as a fan favourite.
With Marko Arnautovic sidelined until 2019, Anderson will be extremely important for Pellegrini’s side during the bust festive season and plenty of fans have heaped further praise upon the Brazilian after his latest display.
