Jack Wilshere has been taken into the hearts of many West Ham supporters over the last year, despite his injury troubles.
He managed just four starts and four substitute appearances last season, but has been working hard to ensure he can play a bigger part in the 2019/20 campaign.
Hammers fans were disappointed to see him injured for so long, though have been impressed with his attitude. This feeling will have only been strengthened by the documentary the England international has released:
As promised here’s the link to the documentary on me. I hope you enjoy it https://t.co/SsSt7MSnKi pic.twitter.com/v8OeX6qkhi

He speaks honestly about topics such as struggles within his family life and battling against injuries in the documentary.
It is this kind of honesty that the Hammers faithful appreciate in their players, with the insight into his life seeming to have further endeared him to the fan base.
They are now hoping he will be able to steer clear of injuries this campaign and make his mark on the pitch, as he has already shown he can be an effective player in claret and blue.
The main example of this is his assist for Felipe Anderson against Newcastle United, where he spun Ki Sung-yeung and played a pinpoint through ball to the Brazilian.
A selection of Twitter reaction to the documentary, including posts from hopeful West Ham fans, can be seen below:
Can’t wait to see you back on the pitch next season and hopefully break back into the England squad #COYI
