West Ham United pushed themselves one step closer to safety after a stunning 3-1 victory against Watford on Friday night.
Michail Antonio was the man to thank once more after his brace helped the Hammers on the way to three points, which means he has found the net six times in his last two games.
West Ham’s No. 30 wasn’t the only man that the fans were delighted with, but Declan Rice also.
The club’s official Twitter account posted Rice’s interview at the end of the game, admitting that his side were not good enough in the second half despite the convincing victory.
Should Declan Rice be crowned Hammer of the Year?
Yes
No
Per Sofascore, Rice managed to make four interceptions, completed all of his dribbles attempted, won seven duels and accumulated a pass success rate of 74%.
Unsurprisingly, supporters showered Rice with praise and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he “loves this boy”, while another simply described him as “magic”.
Abdolutely love Rice, amazing player, great person and just hope he stays with us.
