West Ham were incredibly active during the summer transfer window as Manuel Pellegrini splashed over £100m on new recruits.
The Hammers did not only focus on incoming deals though and there was a number of departures, one of which saw Domingos Quina move across the Premier League for a minimal fee to join Watford.
Since joining the Hornets, Quina has caught the eye with a number of fine performances and has attracted vast plaudits following solid displays in recent weeks against Cardiff City and Everton – which has seen many questioned why West Ham let him go.
The 19-year-old was tipped very highly behind the scenes at West Ham but moved away due to a lack of first-team appearances and, despite his dazzling displays for Watford, it seems many fans are not too fussed about his exit.
We have gathered some of the comments from supporters below.
Mixed report – heard he had incredible talent but at times had an awful attitude. Could go on to incredible things but his agent will always be a problem to any teams he’s at. Hope he goes on to big things.

Saw him a few times in the cups, always looked a bit lost. Great for the kids but couldn’t kick on with us.

Totally fine. We have Diangana, Holland and Brown, who is killing it at Oxford. Plus his agent is a piece of work, tries to get unearned money. Glad to have the root of that guy away from the club, reasons why Reece Oxford will be sold.

We rated him, think the move was thanks to his agent more so, Quina was happy at West Ham according to reports but agents and money talks!! Wish him all the best either way

Was never that great for us, agent is toxic, good luck with him, we have far better now anyway.

He’s a cracking player but you need to get his head right, he has a awful attitude & his agent is trouble continuously telling media that Barca and Bayern were tracking him when there was no interest from teams and told Quina to refuse all offers for a new contract because of it
