West Ham fans just cannot catch a break at the moment. After last season’s injury woes, and even after they recorded a big win against Manchester United yesterday, there always seems to be a catch, and this time it’s come in the form of an injury.
Yes unfortunately 3-4 weeks https://t.co/xdY8h4YBvh

The Hammers weren’t happy when Manuel Lanaizni wasn’t included in their matchday squad yesterday and now it’s become apparent, as per West Ham inside man ExWHUemployee, that the Argentine is out for between three and four weeks.
The news is the last thing that the Hammers needed, although they should hopefully be able to cope with the likes of Pablo Fornals and Jack Wilshere capable of stepping up. Either way, though, this is the last thing they needed after a huge Sunday win.
You can see what they’ve had to say about Lanzini’s injury here:
Gutted we looked a little slow moving the ball around at times today, don’t get me wrong just a small criticism, not moaning #COYI

Ouch. That’s a blow, but big chance for Fornals to step up. A year ago this would have crushed us. Feel the depth can handle it now.

Bad news as it is, it should give Fornals a chance to bed in.

Fornals and Wilshere should get some game time and that might benefit them and us! Also means Holland might get a chance!

This is hardly the news that the Hammers needed or wanted, but at least Manuel Pellegrini has the means to deal with it with the current squad depth.
