Hammers Match Zone

Swansea v West Ham – Early Team News

|

Weather permitting, the Hammers will be at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday, taking on Swansea City in a crucial, to both sides, Premier League fixture.

A win for the Hammers would go a long way to easing those lingering relegation fears, whilst a win for Swansea would see them match the thirty-point total West Ham have.

Ahead of the big fixture, we`ve assembled some early team-news.

Starting with our hosts Swansea:

Following their win, in the FA Cup, over Sheffield Wednesday, Swansea have no fresh injury concerns.

The fixture could see the former Hammer, Andre Ayew, make his first appearance against West Ham United since leaving the club in the January transfer window.

Continuing with West Ham:

David Moyes is still operating with an injury-hit squad with Andy Carroll, Pedro Obiang and Edmilson Fernandes amongst the long-term absentees.

Also missing will be Arthur Masuaku who is now serving the fifth game in a six-game ban for his spitting offence in the FA Cup defeat, at Wigan.
