‘Stop pretending’, ‘Helmet’ – These West Ham fans aren’t buying former player’s comments

|

Over the last couple of days, Rio Ferdinand has been a prominent feature across West Ham’s social media pages, the former defender, who came through the ranks at the club, has been waxing lyrical about his former employers, with some fans quick to shoot him down.

The ex-England man left West Ham back in 2000 to sign for Leeds United, from there he then moved on again to sign for Manchester United, where he spent the majority of his career, with a lot of Hammers refusing to look past this now that Ferdinand has hung his boots up.

The former defender, in the eyes of a lot of fans, hasn’t got the love for West Ham that a lot of other players who have worn the shirt do, and they’re seeing right through his recent comments, making their feelings for the player-turned-pundit very clear.

You can read the Irons’ thoughts on Ferdinand here:

The fans are far from happy at seeing Ferdinand all over their club’s social media, and aren’t at all fans of their former man.
