Plenty of West Ham United fans have been pleading for the club to keep hold of the defensive midfielder Tomas Soucek.
The 25-year-old made the move to the London Stadium back in January after he joined the Hammers on loan from his homeland club Slavia Prague.
Since then, Soucek was impressive during his first couple of outings, particularly during his debut which was during a 3-3 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Hammers, would you snap up Soucek on a permanent deal if it meant no more summer spending?
In a heartbeat
We have to consider our options
Since he has only played four Premier League games, June 17th cannot come quickly enough for the Czech Republic international as officials gave that as its provisional start date.
Because of this, supporters were begging for Soucek to stay in East London and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan urged the Hammers to “sign him up”, while another believed that “he’ll be massive” for us going forward.
I think if we are in Prem next season and we sign him permanently he’ll be massive player for us !

Soucek has been a superb addition to the West Ham squad so far this season despite playing on a handful of games – his performance against Liverpool before he was injured was particularly impressive. If West Ham stay up, Soucek signing permanently is a great signing for the club.
