Report: Umbro drops hint as to what West Ham kits for 2020/21 season will look like

Umbro have blessed us with some gorgeous kits in recent years, especially this season

But they have given us an indication as to what our kits for the 2020/21 campaign may look like after their work was unveiled by another club that sports the English sportswear company’s logo.

As one of the world’s largest football equipment suppliers based out of Manchester, Umbro have been with us since 2015, our final season at Upton Park, and recently extended their partnership with us until 2023.

West Ham is not the only side that they provide for that plays in claret. As well as Premier League Burnley, Hearts of Midlothian in Scotland also sports the double diamond logo and recently unveiled their new strip on their official website.

Do Umbro make the best West Ham kits?

Yes

No

No

The shirt itself is a neat and uncomplicated design, with a two-toned cuffed sleeve and a neat V-neck styled collar arrangement with a subtle pattern that can be seen throughout.

After this season’s West Ham shirt fabulously commemorated the FA Cup-winning team of 1980 with the large blue panel, it will take something special from Umbro to top that, despite the current side not putting in the best performances in it this season.

With football currently suspended, it is unknown as to when next season will come around having only just returned to training in the last few days as the Premier League continues to implement ‘Project Restart’.

So could next season’s kit have any resemblance to the one that Hearts have just revealed? It is not quite the same V-neck that we have worn this season but there is still an adaptation that we could be wearing for the next campaign.
