It seems like lifetimes ago when West Ham fans were excited for the arrival of Pablo Fornals, and now skip-forward to September, it couldn’t be a more different story.
Why hasn’t Fornals shot there? Sums up our night. Such poor decision making in final third.

The Spanish youngster has frustrated supporters since making the move from Villarreal to east London.
And last night against Aston Villa the 23-year-old playmaker squandered a chance to seal the points late on for West Ham, adding more fuel to the fire for supporters to criticise Fornals on social media.
Here is what some West Ham fans had to say on Twitter about Fornals’ performance against Villa…
Fornals looks very weak. Not excited by him one bit.

Once again Pellegrini made the substitutions wrong. Fornals did the only thing he didn't have to do

The decision making was fine. Haller was in acres. It was the execution which was the problem.

Fornals is not match fit at all as he is not playing so not gonna make good decisions yet

Fornals belongs at Charlton not West Ham. He’s ridiculously slow for a player his age and position?

Fornals was West Ham’s first signing of the summer after joining from La Liga for a reported fee of £24m according to BBC Sport.
