The rise of TV’s importance in the Premier League has been both a blessing a curse, with one of the main criticisms of the power the networks now have over the English top-flight being their ability to change fixture dates and times.
There are changes to our fixtures in December & January…
Wolves (a): Wed 4 Dec
Arsenal (h): Mon 9 Dec
Sheff Utd (a): Fri 10 Jan— West Ham United (@WestHam) October 17, 2019
And done so they have this week, with West Ham confirming on their official website that seven Premier League games have been changed in order to be facilitated for live TV as well as the festive period of the English football calendar, the busiest spell of the season as well as the most anticipated for supporters.
Yet for football fans who actually attend the games, the fixtures changes have proven to be a nuisance with plenty of West Ham fans taking to social media to take aim at the Premier League for the number of time changes to games coming up in the next few weeks.
Here’s what some West Ham fans had to say about the rampant Premier League fixture changes…
So once again the FA & Sky show no respect for the hard working hard pressed fans that have to travel toaway games early and mid week

Some supporters were fuming with the amount of game-time changes…
Gone are the days when all matches kicked off at 3pm on a Saturday, giving players and staff a decent weekend. Ridiculous.

Another 3 games I’ll struggle to get to. Mind you, why should the club care

West Ham’s weekend fixture against Everton was also one of the game’s effected by television, with the fixture taking place at 12:30 pm tomorrow.
