West Ham fans really thought their club might be turning a corner when Manuel Pellegrini and his director of football Mario Husillos came into the club. However, now the pair have both left, and it seems that a new DoF is not in the pipeline.
A new one won’t be appointed until the summer (if at all). For now it’s back to the old methods https://t.co/EBbGFnURKZ

That news came from ExWHUemployee on Twitter, and it is absolutely not what the fans wanted at all. The Hammers have long been left vulnerable to having their time and money wasted by the likes of David Gold and David Sullivan, who have run the club like a circus, and yet here we are again.
The Hammers have got to just grin and bear it from here, with this January window and at least the start of summer coming with the Irons living under the reign and power of the nicknamed ‘dildo brothers’, and whilst this won’t be an easy period to be a fan, there’s not an awful lot that can be done.
Will this transfer window be a big one?
Yes
No
You can read the Irons’ thoughts on a DoF here:
We really are going backwards. Progression has stopped, and we’re a laughing stock again.

Club is a shambles. And it starts at the top, don’t get me wrong I understand they took us over when we where in a mess and have brought a level of stability but they are clearly not the people to take us forward as we are now stuck where we are. A new ownership with loftier – –

I wonder if G&S actually want us relegated. Is there a hidden clause in the Stadium contract that states if we are relegated then they don’t have to pay anything for the stadium if they sell the club? Does make you wonder what they think will happen by not investing in players.

Next week it will be 10 years since they bought the club. What a miserable decade it’s been. Lost our home and our identity

One step forward and two steps backward. What a way to run a multi-million pound business.

Ah the old Gold and Sully strategy – if it’s broke, don’t fix it

The fans desperately want change, and bringing in a respectable director of football is high on their wishlist.
