Plenty of West Ham United fans have been responding to an update regarding the future of midfielder Declan Rice.
ExWHUEmployee responded to a question on Twitter about the England international and reported that he is being linked with a move to Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea.
He confirmed that the interest was genuine from the trio but adds that the financial situation has changed the situation due to football being suspended.
Will Declan Rice leave at the end of the season?
Yes
No
West Ham have been aware of clubs that are keen to take Rice off our hands for the past six months and reports suggest we would look for a fee of £80m.
Owners David Gold and David Sullivan are not popular figures with the fans for various reasons and this has resulted in a lack of trust from the London Stadium faithful.
Unsurprisingly, supporters were not impressed whatsoever and made their feelings clear n social media. One fan believed that the club will make excuses if Rice leaves by predicting that the owners will say “we had to sell Declan to prevent the club from going bust.”
I can see the excuse now. ‘We had to sell Declan to prevent the club going bust’.
