Whilst the transfer window may have closed for West Ham and the rest of the Premier League, the Hammers have got no restrictions on bringing in staff, and the recent appointment of Kevin Nolan to the club’s first-team coaching staff has gone down very well, as have his recent comments.

The Hammers have had a chance to see their former skipper speaking for the first time since he got the job working on David Moyes’ coaching team and they’ve loved what he’s had to say ahead of what will undoubtedly be an incredibly difficult run in between now and the end of the season.
Most have welcomed him back with open arms, and will be keen for the former Hammer to kick some life into the squad, get them back to their best and get them playing with some fight and desire, as the quality is clearly there, it’s just a matter of getting them going again.

Nolan obviously has his work cut out, but the fans are backing him and he’s clearly determined to save the Hammers this season.
