‘Get Hugill ready’: These West Ham fans react as forward could follow Arnautovic out

|

West Ham could be set for significant changes in their squad over the remaining weeks of the transfer window, as the Hammers are at risk of losing a number of forwards.

Marko Arnautovic is widely reported to be closing in on a move to Chinese side Shanghai SIPG and it has also been claimed that Lucas Perez could return to Spain – and he may not be the only Hammer heading to LaLiga.

Sky Sports state that Javier Hernandez has agreed personal terms with Valencia, which remarkably means that Manuel Pellegrini could lose three forwards this month – which surely means that replacements will be lined-up.

Mexico international Hernandez has struggled to find consistency since returning to the Premier League in 2017, scoring 12 goals in 42 appearances since then and starting only seven games in the league this season.

The concern is that it would leave the Hammers short of options, although some are excited about what Pellegrini could do with increased funds at his disposal. We have gathered some of the comments from supporters below.
