West Ham have endured a turbulent season so far, losing six of their opening 12 Premier League matches, and face another stern test this weekend as they tackle title favourites Manchester City.
Manuel Pellegrini has struggled to find consistency since taking charge at the London Stadium in the summer but one positive has been the continued fine performances of 19-year-old sensation Declan Rice.
The academy graduate has established himself as one of the first name’s on the team sheet this season but his future remains up in the air as negotiations regarding a contract extension have stalled, with West Ham not prepared to meet his demands.
Fans are firmly backing Rice in the standoff and have continuously pushed for the board to get a new deal for the teenager over the line to bring an end to the speculation and took another opportunity to share their thoughts this week.
