“Cracked me up”, “Absolutely class” – Lots of West Ham fans howl at what “legend” did

|

Plenty of West Ham United fans were relieved after the 1-1 draw against Manchester United meant that they retained their Premier League status.

The Hammers only needed a point from their final two games to make their safety certain, at the expense of Bournemouth, Watford and Aston Villa who will need the final day of the season to avoid relegation.

David Moyes’ side took the lead after a handball from the Red Devils’ midfielder Paul Pogba, which Michail Antonio stepped up and scored the resulting penalty.

Could Michail Antonio be tempted by a move away from West Ham?

Yes

No

As the players stepped out for the second half, the cameras appeared to capture Antonio doing an impression of Pogba, with the Frenchman look bemused in the background.

Unsurprisingly, supporters howled at Antonio’s antics and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that his mimicking cracked him up, while another described him as “absolutely class” and a “legend”.
