Few men at West Ham at present are more popular than Manuel Lanzini. He’s always been a favourite of the London Stadium faithful, but the Argentine’s injury struggles and subsequent recovery have made him even more loved by fans, and the manner in which he’s returned has been remarkable too.
Indeed, he hasn’t lost a step since his return to the first team, with a lot of highlights coming from his first three games back in the squad. He, of course, played his first full game on Saturday when we beat Newcastle.
West Ham recently shared a short clip of some of his highlights, and naturally, Hammers have been quick to respond and pay tribute to the talented attacking midfielder.

Nobody else in the squad possesses the poise, guile and technical skill of Lanzini, and whilst players like Felipe Anderson are of a similar ilk, it’s clear that the Argentine is more popular than ever.
