Plenty of West Ham United fans have been reacting to reports that Tomas Soucek will be signed permanently in the summer.

According to Claret & Hugh, the Czech Republic will convert the £3.75m loan deal to a permanent one for an extra £13.5m when the transfer window opens on July 27th.

Soucek has been impressive for the Hammers and has been embraced by the London Stadium faithful, which explains why David Moyes is so keen to keep hold of him for the 2020/21 campaign.

Does Tomas Soucek deserve to be Hammer of the Year?

Yes

No

Since the 25-year-old moved to East London, he has scored three goals in 11 Premier League appearances and played 861 minutes in the claret and blue, as per TransferMarkt.

Unsurprisingly, supporters drooled over Soucek and his outings by making their feelings clear about him on social media. One fan said that he was the “best signing of the window”, while others described him as a “bargain” and an “absolute steal”.
