Unfortunately for a lot of people, we live in a world filled with idiots who haven’t been following the guidelines quite clearly set out by the government, although it seems that many football clubs and platforms with large followings are taking it upon themselves to help spread the message.
#SocialDistancing is important. Always stay at least one Issa Diop away from others. pic.twitter.com/BHFyOzZz7S

West Ham are one of those who have been doing just that, and the London club have taken to Twitter to put their own spin on the need to social distance, showing the 2m Issa Diop and reminding fans that they need to remain at least one Diop away from others.
This may be something very minor, but it’s a key message for many and will help prevent the spread of COVID-19, and it’s been done in a clever way that has got many fans onboard, even if there are still the odd supporters here and there who are smirking at it and replying with their own witty comments.
You can read the Hammers’ thoughts on the club’s post here:
We did social distancing all season with the gap in between everyone and haller

Our defenders have kept two meters from opposing strikers all season so it’s all cool.

Now i see why our defence has gapping holes in it.

Follow the example of @JackWilshere, hasn’t gone into work for months

The Irons clearly liked their club’s tweet and will all hopefully be following the advice.
